Default Martyr(?)

I'm not so sure about the name because in many ways it's nothing like a martyr but thats what i'm going with for now.

Martyr

Description:
A proffesion for those who wish to aid allies while still retainin a fair amount of strength to do away with foes. The Martyr use self-sacrifice and other self-degregating process to heal, protect, or other wise assist allies. While also being able to use their own suffering to cause damage to opponets and create abominations.

Look:
(without armor)the way I see the Martyr is a very skiny looking person almost sickly
(with armor)battle worn with many scratches and bites with tatered clothes and a skull mask,no upper body armor, generaly looking like they've been through heck.

First an explanation of Spirit they are in some ways a combination between minnions and spirits. They are at a fairly low level but have potential to be powerful with level because of the use of their own skills. Also they well not become hostile when the caster dies because they are linked to the group rather than the one caster.

CC forums are starting to be disturbingly quiet, so you'll have to do with my ramblings.

Quote:
Armor: like the basic caster most likely with more health bonuses.
Actually having high health when sacrificing is bad, it means 50% is more actual points of health and you will have to regenerate longer before you can sacrifice again.
That is the whole point of aura 'of the lich'
Perhaps it should reduce max health but offer a large bonus against physical damage.

I like the primary, it integrates nicely into current GW, and is also reasonably balanced.
Though I think resolve might be a better name.

Malnutrition
5-energy 2sec-recharge
Enchantment/Hex. You are hexed with Malnutrition for 5...10 seconds causing 1 pip of energy degeration, 1 pip of health degeneration, and weakness. While target other ally is enchanted with Well Fed and receives 1 pip of energy regeneration and 1 pip of health regeneration.
Don't use hexes to apply negative effects to self, hexes and are enchantments are removable, so it is best to have the negative effect just apply not being of any type, like the necromancers 'Blood Bond'

W00t suicide bomber, but why damage allies, the skill is an elite and pretty much gets you killed, no need to be all that realistic it's fine if it only hurts foes.

(Elite)Creation of Soul
25-energy 2sec-cast 120sec-recharge
Creation. You die leaving an exploited corpse and a level 15...30 Soul Abomination giving all sorounding allies a 15 energy bonus and +2 pips of energy regeneration and attacks enemies, this abomination dies after 20 seconds. You may not be resurected before your abomination dies.

(Elite)Creation of Body
25-energy 2sec-cast 120sec-recharge

15-energy 1sec-cast 15sec-recharge
Spell. If you are bleeding you sacrifice 10% max health and create a level 5...15 Monk Abomination able to cast basic to advanced healing skills.

Creation of Might
15-energy 1sec-cast 15sec-recharge
Spell. If you are weakend you sacrifice 10% max health and create a level 5...15 Warrior Abomination able to cast basic to advanced attack skills.
Why abominations? They are a martyr devoted to Dwayna, use some Holy spirit of vengeance or something like that.

Blood Arrow

Sounds very necromancer'ish, blood of pain by default would be a lot like blood magic.
So I think it would be good to smite off off allies instead of using direct damage.
That will make it a bit like smiting prayers, but if you focus more on the AoE from source damage(with non holy damage) instead of the punishing foes with armor ignoring damage, it might be different enough.

On the other hand you could completely forget about blood of pain as a casting attribute, and make it into a weapon attribute for a

torn between chain sword(mid-range melee wepon able to strike 3 foes at once)
what ever a torn between chain sword is...
Like the PoP 2 thrones dark prince's weapon,
or more like GoW his sword on a chain?

This class does have some impact, it would teach healers all over GW to stop healing health sacrificers, because healing a martyr they'd run out of energy in no time at all.
Through I'm not sure that is a good thing.
